And isn't it just like our moms to console us when we're hurt THEM? :-) I'm getting better and better at finding the positive. The best method I've found is to immediately stop the pity party, stop focusing on what happened and quickly get my emotions under control. And its funny that people will wonder how we don't freak out at every negative event, life is much calmer that way. Great story! We get so wound up sometimes because a goal we've given absolutely everything to achieve (like debt repayment, I'm sure, was) gets interrupted by an annoying "failure" or accident. I think your reaction in this case was completely justified, seeing as you had just hit a car, but I'm so glad you were able to get over it and move on so quickly. A great lesson for us all!
