One thing that is sure in life is that we'll have hard times. We'll have a car accident (been there done that! ), have health issues and have loved ones die. How we choose to react to those circumstances is really what sets us apart.

I choose to be positive just like you!

Thanks Eric...we just have to remember to put on foot in front of the other. Eventually we will reach our destination.

This is a great story. One of my mottos in life is "everything works out." It's basically the same as your "everything WAS going be alright" This way of living makes it easier to avoid worry and focus on more important things.

Great story! And isn't it just like our moms to console us when we're hurt THEM? :-)

I'm getting better and better at finding the positive. The best method I've found is to immediately stop the pity party, stop focusing on what happened and quickly get my emotions under control. And its funny that people will wonder how we don't freak out at every negative event, life is much calmer that way.

Patrenia--

What an awesome story. We get so wound up sometimes because a goal we've given absolutely everything to achieve (like debt repayment, I'm sure, was) gets interrupted by an annoying "failure" or accident.

I think your reaction in this case was completely justified, seeing as you had just hit a car, but I'm so glad you were able to get over it and move on so quickly.

A great lesson for us all!
