Now all that’s left is t0 follow through…the implementation of the plan.
You dream, you feel the feelings of accomplishment, you dream again…you know it’s within reach.
But there’s a problem that arises. The plan isn’t perfect and reaching the goal will take a little longer than you originally thought.
Due to life’s realities, you experience minor setbacks. What do you do?
Option 1: Ditch the plan. This is too hard. What was I thinking? Who am I to achieve THAT kind of goal? Forget it!
Option 2: Keep working. Taking action. Making sometimes small, but continuous progress. Each step taken is a victory…even if it is an occasional step backwards.
Sometimes you need to take one step back in order to go two steps forward.
You refocus, regroup and start again and remind yourself that…
ACCOMPLISHMENTS come only after ACTION.
Just like you, I started 2014 with renewed thoughts and important goals. Goals that I didn’t think would be too tough to tackle. But everyday as I’m taking action I’m (re)learning a couple of things…
- Things are not always as easy as they seem
- Great results aren’t achieved instantly…there is (many times) lots of work involved.
And guess what? I’m ok with that. I’ll be the first to admit though, some days are a tad bit more challenging than others. But when I step back and look at the entire picture…the overall view, I see a huge amount of progress. And that’s all that matters. Of course, there’s more work to be done, but I’m in for the long haul.
What about you? Where are you with your goals? Comments here.
P.S. Mark you calendars for February 9, 2014. Join me for an encore presentation of 6 Failproof Ways to Finally Become Financially Free. The response from the original presentation was fantastic! So if you missed the first training or would like to attend again, this will be your opportunity. I’ll send out more information within the next week or so.
